We started our Red Ruby Devon herd in early 2021, with 3 in-calf heifers, and 1 cow. 3 years on we have a herd of 22, and are ready to produce our first beef boxes.

Our calves stay with their mothers for around 9 months, enjoying the freedom of grazing in a small herd, with similar age calves. We check them, and their mothers daily, to ensure they are healthy and happy. 

We will carefully select an animal for our beef boxes, once it reaches the correct age and weight, using a local slaughter house. Our animals are handled with care, and expertise by a small local trusted family butcher.
